Family Martial Arts and Fitness is operated by 4th Dan, Master Instructor James P. Meighan and 3rd Dan Instructor, Stephen DeAngelo. Master Meighan is head instructor of both the kickboxing and karate programs. Tang Soo Do Karate & Kickboxing Aerobic classes are offered at our school. Tang Soo Do is a Korean martial art that has been taught for over 2000 years.

We provide separate classes for children and adults, as well as family instruction. Traditional forms are taught along with self-defense techniques. The kickboxing aerobic class offers the benefits of basic boxing techniques along with aerobic and strength training. Both of these programs offer a great opportunity to build confidence, coordination and discipline.

Come to our location at 661 Bridgeton Pike in Mantua NJ and watch a class. You will have a chance to meet the instructors and see first hand how classes are taught.

We belong to the Intercontinental Tang Soo Do Organization. It is headed by grandmaster Dominick A. Giacobbe, with locations in Pine Hill, Pleasantville, Nazareth Pennsylvania and Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Grandmaster Giacobbe has been training in Tang Soo Do for over 35 years. He teaches throughout Europe on a regular basis and is recognized throughout the world. Each and every school is under the tutelage of truly one of the great masters in the world of karate. Grandmaster Giacobbe has been in several magazines and on Television Shows. Televisions shows include “Guinness Book of World Records” and “That's Incredible”. Black Belt magazine has recognized Grandmaster Giacobbe as a member of their Hall of Fame, and as “Man of the Year”
